* Hailey wanted me to video her first thing this morning. After she sang her song, she said, "Now can you put this on my blog?" She sure loves posting!
Hailey's yellow fish died the other day. He got a weird growth on top of his head so she named it Yellowstone. She wasn't game for flushing him down the toilet. She went and made him a headstone out of paper. It says "My yellowstone died". I scooped him or her out and put him in this jewelery box (and put him in the freezer) until we go outside and find a proper burial spot. (She doesn't know that I have already flushed 2 smaller ones but Hunter does!). She wanted this posted so here ya go!
Grammy took me to Build-A-Bear Workshop on HER birthday to shop for a gift for me for my birthday! I didn't know where I was going until we arrived at the store. Grammy tricked me when she asked me who all the stuff was for.
* Hailey had a good time with her Grammy as you can tell from the stuff. She was super excited about going there. She loves that place. Brady helped build her closet when we got home and she wanted me to hang up her clothes. She even wanted to pose for a picture to put on her blog. Thanks for the special afternoon with Hailey Grammy and Happy Birthday to You!
Hailey brought home this candy pumpkin they made in class on Friday. They used that chewy orange sliced candy, frosting and one m&m to make it look like a pumpkin. I wasn't too thrilled to taste it but I did. I like most sweet things but I find them gross. She licked all the icing off and then took a bite. I knew she wouldn't like it but at least she attempted her creation. Hunter and Brady enjoyed it though!
This is the card I made for my teacher's birthday on Friday.
* The homeroom parent in Hailey's class sent a note home that her teacher's birthday is on Friday. She asked the children to make her a card to celebrate her day. We were also asked to contribute some $$$ towards a gift if we could. I love the front of Hailey's card. Her drawings are getting better and better to me. She has also improved writing her first name. She now writes it in the "Kindergarten Way" (also known as the D'Nealian handwriting form). I am especially proud of her lowercase "e's". Those are tricky. Way to go Hailey! This card isn't the best example of how she now writes her first name but cute none-the-less. The pen drawing is of her teacher teaching from her chair while Hailey is sitting on the the carpet in class. I love her perspective of the view and how she drew her legs sticking out!
Thank you for guessing. Smokey you are right. Brady was right too. I'm Gretel. I like Gretel because at the end they find treasure and they get freed from the cookies.
* Hailey enjoyed hearing your guesses. Some even made her laugh. Thanks for playing along with her!
Hailey's teacher taught them this little fun movement activity to get the wiggles out. She showed it to us on about the 3rd day late one evening. It cracked us up. She didn't do it quite like how she did it that first time but it still is funny and odd.
* Hunter is in another phase right now. He loves to bug Hailey.
I played with my Marbulous Marble set I got for Christmas last year yesterday afternoon and evening. My mom puts it in timeout sometimes. It is fun to play with. Here are 2 videos I requested my mom to take and post on my blog. Enjoy!
I went to school and I liked it on my first day. And I liked my first day so when I got home I called my daddy and grammy. I talked to Tessa and Kelsey too. I put a bunny on my backpack and it's cute. Today is my second day and it is rainy outside again. School is fun. Now I am home and Hunter missed me on my first day of school and I didn't know he would miss me because he hits me. I love Hunter too. I don't know if he will miss me on this day too but I bet he will. Stuff is fun at school. I made a puppet. So much fun. That's all. The end.
Hailey told me last night that they have a stoplight with magnets in their classroom. Red means don't talk. Yellow means whisper. Green means talk normally. She made one this morning and asked me for some magnets. She taped one to the back and one to a paper clip. Pretty good replica!
I have been watching old episodes of the Land of the Lost on my computer. This is a picture of where they get home in and the Land of the Lost people - Marshall (Rick), Will and Holly.
