Crazy Hair Day!

I went to school looking like this today. My mom helped to put the spiders in my hair that I wanted. My dad help to spray it green!

I Carved My Own Pumpkin

This is the pumpkin I carved at the lake house Saturday afternoon.

My pumpkin seeds I brought home from school are growing too!

This is the heart I worked on in bed on Sunday night at the lakehouse. It is ready to be ironed!

Candy Pumpkin

Hailey brought home this candy pumpkin they made in class on Friday. They used that chewy orange sliced candy, frosting and one m&m to make it look like a pumpkin. I wasn't too thrilled to taste it but I did. I like most sweet things but I find them gross. She licked all the icing off and then took a bite. I knew she wouldn't like it but at least she attempted her creation. Hunter and Brady enjoyed it though!

My Teacher's Birthday Card

This is the card I made for my teacher's birthday on Friday.

* The homeroom parent in Hailey's class sent a note home that her teacher's birthday is on Friday. She asked the children to make her a card to celebrate her day. We were also asked to contribute some $$$ towards a gift if we could.
I love the front of Hailey's card. Her drawings are getting better and better to me. She has also improved writing her first name. She now writes it in the "Kindergarten Way" (also known as the D'Nealian handwriting form). I am especially proud of her lowercase "e's". Those are tricky. Way to go Hailey! This card isn't the best example of how she now writes her first name but cute none-the-less. The pen drawing is of her teacher teaching from her chair while Hailey is sitting on the the carpet in class. I love her perspective of the view and how she drew her legs sticking out!
